On 16th November 2024, eleven local charities and community organisations gathered in Lancaster for the second “Your Pots – Your Say” community voting day. Watch what went on.

Using the model of Participatory Budgeting, each group was bidding for between £5,000 and £10,000 of a £50,000 fund to develop their own regenerative economy project. The local community voted on who should be funded.

Your Pots is a project of the Closing Loops programme, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, and led by a partnership of local organisations. The Your Pots fund of the Closing Loops programme is delivered by Lancaster District CVS, LESS CIC and Shared Future CIC. The video was produced by the Lancaster Film Initiative.
