More Information

LancsCAN is bringing together community groups, council and business representatives to take part in a day of discussion, networking and workshops. The aim of the event is to provide much needed support to community groups and possible avenues to grow scale and scope.

The day will begin with a council and business roundtable discussion and will move onto workshops in the four key areas of energy, food, resources and transport. The need to support and grow community climate efforts is vital throughout all areas and with this in mind all attendees will have the opportunity to take part in each event, learning about key work taking part in each area and best practice. We will close the day with roundtable conclusions and a networking hour.

Whether you are a volunteer, community group member, council or business representative all are welcome to the Lancashire Community Climate Action Forum and all are essential in the fight against climate change.

We are pleased to collaborate with the Lancashire Climate Action Network and be part of the vital discussions on the vital need for more community voices in decision making processes.
