Communications experts: we need your help!
We are a north west based Social Enterprise that has been running since 2009. One of the UK leaders in the field of democratic innovation, we are passionate about and committed to creating a fairer and more sustainable world. We do this by helping people to explore, debate and influence issues of public policy, in ways that make a real difference in local communities and in wider society.
Passionate about the emergency of climate change.
Our main focus is on deliberative democracy projects that address the climate emergency. It’s an issue we believe vitally important for us, for communities across the UK and for the planet. We believe that finding ways to enable everyone understand, influence and take action on the climate emergency is urgent and closely linked to individual well-being, social justice and a sustainable environment.
Working towards a fairer, democratic and more equal society
Social justice is at the heart of our mission. That means enabling those living within marginalised communities, or whose voices are not being heard find new ways to participate in society and influence policy. We are doing this through our work on participatory budgeting, deliberative democracy and building a social economy.
If you also care deeply about these issues, you could be the person we need.
We believe we are really good at what we do, but we need expert help informing people about our activities, building our public profile, communicating our work, and celebrating the many ways people get involved and affect real change. We are looking for someone who shares what matters to us, and able to work flexibly and remotely around 2 days a week.
You might be developing your career, or you may already be working in a communications, marketing or web design role. Or you may just be looking for ways to actively express your passion about the climate emergency and put your commitment to social justice into practice.
