Complex projects, including new capital developments and the ongoing management of community buildings and landscapes, need specific skills. Through our long experience in the field of community design we have the ability to work with organisations of all sizes and put them on the path to success.

Shared Future recently completed a major feasibility study into the development of an £800,000 community gym, and continue to work with the group to realise their vision for bring better access to opportunities for health and wellbeing to residents of a deprived area of Lancashire.
Jez Hall, one of our directors, is independently developing a project for Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation (GMCVO) to help introduce renewable energy generation into community-owned buildings, through a mix of crowdfunding, technical assistance and social investment.
This included running a workshop for a new borough-wide community energy group, inspired by co-operative principles. The group is looking to develop a major renewable energy scheme aimed at raising income to sustain not-for-profit organisations and their buildings.
Jez also previously contributed to the development of Building Success, an online toolkit produced by GMCVO and funded by the Big Lottery, to support community-led building projects.
